Microlight Pilot's License Komati Flight Academy is a SACAA approved Microlight training establishment, and the Academy only make use of qualified instructors. With its long, tarred airfield, easy approaches and low air traffic, its the ideal airfield for student pilots. Aerial Photography Aerial photographs of your farm, plot, house, lodge etc in digital format. Get the 'bird's eye view"! Fun Flights Come and experience our bushveld scenery from the air. Elephant, Rhino, Hippo, Buffalo and much much more. Flights can be undertaken in a fixed wing or a weightshift microlight to give you the real open cockpit experience. Flights range from 15 min to 1 hour flying safari's. A 15 min experience from as little as R250-00 and your flight can be tailored to your needs. A typical flight along the crocodile river would be 30min at a cost of R500. Although game like Rhino, Buffalo, Hippo's and Elephant are common on these flights, the sighting of game can not be gauranteed. Availability of flights is weather dependant.
