MISASA
The Microlight Association of South Africa, is the
representative body for Microlight Pilots in South Africa,
representing some 3000 pilots and 25% of all aircraft registered
on the South African Civil Aircraft Register.

The
Aero Club of South Africa
The national controlling body for all sport aviation in South
Africa. Today the Aero Club has 13 chapters and some 4500 members.

SACAA
The South African Civil Aviation Authority was established on 1 October 1998 following the
enactment of the South African Civil Aviation Authority Act,
No.40, in September of the same year. The Act provided for the
establishment of a stand-alone authority charged with promoting,
regulating and enforcing civil aviation safety and security.
